The Go-Betweens where a Brisbane based rock band fromed in1977 that disbanded in 1989, they reformed in 2000 until singer/songwriter Robert Faster passed away in 2006.
In 1988 there album 16 Lovers Lane gave them their biggest chart hit in both Australia and the UK with Streets of Your Town. The song has been used as a theme for prime Television and advertisment for the Courier Mail.
