The adjacent garden was built around 1845 to grow produce for Cobham Park, the estate owned by the Coombe family who owned a London brewery. The Victorian garden fell into disrepair and starting in 2006 a restoration programme was begun. The objective being to create an attractive community garden
Access to the garden is free, there is a very small childrens' play area for very small children that might be useful if you have some bored geokids.
I don't know why but my Grandad says this is a good one to have if you are wanting to do the QR Challenge GC33DDP
