Geocache Description:

Continuing along the route along the King Alfred Trail this cache will take you into the Scotchel Nature reserve.

The Scotchel is a popular area for dog walkers and families alike as it is a lovely gentle, flat walk through the centre of Pewsey. For one weekend in September it is also the location of the annual duck race - all aprt of the Pewsey Carnival tradition.

When caching with small children please take care as there is free flowing water near by and we would not want them to get too wet. You do not need to get wet to find the cache although depending on the time of year nettles may be a hasard.
