Aftermath, which gets its name from two sources, is my 2nd cache out in the field. It is also my favorite container, due to how it came into my possession. See, I was out caching in January of 2016 near Wally in Sartell. I found the container near the cache there (GC2B9V2). It was just discarded, who would do such a thing? I intended to hide it under the bridge nearby, but that's a no-no (despite others I've found under bridges, must be a new rule). I moved it to a much easier hide you'll see (after much displeasure, it would've been a super hard cache). I never intended to create a series, it kind of just happened.
The second name origin for this cache comes from the track on the Muse album "Drones" released in June of 2015. It's my favorite track on the album. I could've named it "Absolution", but meh. The cache has a mechanism to remove the log which hopefully survives repeated use. FTF=Sharktank21
These gates are crumbling
The walls are rising high again
It's no place for the faint-hearted
But my heart is strong
Cause now I know where I belong
It's you and I against the world
And we are free
Go find Blackout (GC6CQY9) now that you've found this one. Blackout will lead you to the next cache, Citizen Erased (and so on and so forth).
