Travancore Park is a beautiful and often visited dog park hidden between suburbia and the CityLink freeway. There's a bike path that extends all the way down to the city and it's a really nice area for a walk. If you don't live in the area you'd probably barely know it's there. My girlfriend and I usualy come here to chill out and hang out with all the dogs from the area so we figured it was a great place for our first cache!
Just be wary, it can get very muggle heavy on weekends, and sometimes after work hours, but the cache area is pretty well covered from view by trees and away from the road and the bike path. We were there around 2pm on a weekday and the place was completely deserted.
You'll find the cache nestled in an island of trees, amongst the dry twigs and branches. Be sure to leave no stone unturned!
The cache is a sandwich-sized clear plastic container with a red clip lid. At the time of placing it we put 12 notecards inside. Please take one, write a secret, something only a few people might know about you or someone you know, and place it back in the cache for others to see, or if you want take them with you and put them another cache.
