There is a junction of trails at Kiviniemi. You can choose from Herajärven kierros, Kolinpolku and the UKK-route. Nowadays there is a private entrepreneur at Kiviniemi who offers accommodation etc. for travellers. There is a parking space for your car and you can leave it there if you go hiking.

There is a lot of room in the lean-to for a bigger party to have a bite to eat or even spend the night.
