When we placed this cache, the ground was a little soggy, and we believe this area will be somewhat flooded during certain times of the year. Be on your guard for venomous snakes, spiders, scorpions, wasps, ticks, wild boars and other things that live in woodsy, wet places. A terrible creature has taken an interest in this cache and has declared himself to be its guardian. He keeps the log with him. Watch for him. If you see him and take his picture, please don't post it.
This cache is about a mile down the Mill Creek trail, and requires about 60-70 feet of off-trail hiking. There is an entrance fee for Wekiwa Springs State Park, and the hours are 8 am to sundown, 365 days a year. Thank you to Park Services Specialist Scott Mowry for permission to place this cache.
