Dollars Trilogy
The Dollars Trilogy, also known as the Man with No Name Trilogy, is a film series consisting of three films directed by Sergio Leone.
The films are titled A Fistful of Dollars released in 1964 is a film about a wandering gunfighter plays two rival families against each other in a town torn apart by greed, pride, and revenge.
For a Few Dollars More released in 1965 is a film about two bounty hunters with the same intentions team up to track down a Western outlaw.
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly released in 1966 is a film about a bounty hunting scam that joins two men in an uneasy alliance against a third in a race to find a fortune in gold buried in a remote cemetery.
The only actors to appear in all three movies besides Eastwood are Mario Brega, Aldo Sambrell, Benito Stefanelli and Lorenzo Robledo. Four other actors each appear twice in the trilogy, playing different characters, Lee Van Cleef, Gian Maria Volontè, Luigi Pistilli, and Joseph Egger. The three films are consistently listed among the best rated Western films of all time.
