Re-Animator Trilogy
The Re-Animator Trilogy is a series of films about experiments that center around the re-animation of dead tissue.
Re-Animator is a 1985 American science fiction loosely based on the H. P. Lovecraft episodic novella "Herbert West–Reanimator. Directed by Stuart Gordon and produced by Brian Yuzna, it was the first film in the Re-Animator (film series) and lead character, Herbert West, is portrayed by actor Jeffrey Combs in all three films. The film has since become a cult film.
Bride of Re-Animator is a 1990 American science fiction. Eight months after the events of Re-Animator, Doctors Herbert West and Dan Cain are working as medics in the middle of a bloody Peruvian civil war. In the chaos of battle and with plenty of casualties to work on, they are free to experiment with West's re-animation reagent and the bride is born. The film stars Bruce Abbott, Claude Earl Jones, Fabiana Udenio, David Gale, Kathleen Kinmont, and Jeffrey Combs.
Beyond Re-Animator is a 2003 horror film directed by Brian Yuzna. Everyone's favorite mad scientist Herbert West is currently in jail after having state's evidence turned against him by his former assistant, Dan Cain. While being led away, some re-agent falls from his pocket where it is picked up by a young man who was camping nearby. The young man finds Herbert down in his jail cell and learns for himself just what the re-agent is capable of.
