Geocache Description:

There is no cache at the posted coordinates, they are for parking.

Land Surveyors perform many types of surveys: Boundary, Topographic and Stake-out to name a few. In solving this cache you will need to do some easy area conversions.

One the many types of surveys that licensed surveyors perform are called "Boundary Surveys." As the name indicates this is the type of survey required when the "Boundaries" of a parcel of land and the exact area of that parcel are needed to be known. This type of survey usually includes placing markers at the lot corners.

A Boundary Survey is not needed when purchasing a home, however many homeowners think this is what was done when they were given a map (Typically labeled as a "Location Drawing") showing their house and lot at the time they bought their property. No markers are placed at corners with a Location Drawing.

The final stage is N 39° 08.AAA’ and W 76° 49.BBB’

Now for some simple area calculations:

13764.96 Square Feet is how many acres = AAA
30012.84 Square Feet is how many acres = BBB

Your answer for AAA and BBB will be EXACTLY three numbers on the right of the decimal.
Sum check for AAA equals 10 and sum check for BBB equals 23.

Approved by the Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks on January 4, 2016.
