This is a series of caches about old sayings. I was born and raised in Texas. I was surrounded by family and friends that had all sorts of interesting sayings for things. "I've been to 2 county fairs and a goat roping!" is a phrase my grandfather used when joking about being well travelled. In all honesty he was a WWII vet with a purple heart who served in the South Pacific.
