This cache is located near the Huron Light. It is located on the outside edge of a dredge spoil that was built to provide the foundations of a future 64 acre island park.
The Huron Harbor breakwater is frequently used as a fishing pier, and the dredge spoil adjacent to it is being transformed by the Army Corps of Engineers into a sixty-four-acre island that is slated to become a town park. The square cement foundation, which was formerly home to the pierhead light for many years, is still clearly evident as you stroll out to the modern light.
You may access this cache approaching from either side of the semicircle rock dredge. Both ways will require a decent amount of traversing highly uneven terrain and hopping from rock to rock. Please be careful if you decide to go for this cache. As extra info, there is a flat even trail going through the reeds south of this cache, although it is sometimes muddy, it is a better alternative to the rocks. You will need to enter the rocks near the halfway point if you decide to come from this direction.
While you are here, you can visit the Huron light and find another cache that is located there.

Be safe and have fun!
