This is a series of caches about old sayings. I was born and raised in Texas. I was surrounded by family and friends that had all sorts of interesting sayings for things. Where else to share old country sayings? Why, the country, of course! I hope you enjoy finding the caches in this series as much as I enjoyed remembering the loved ones that said them. "I am thankful every time I remember you"
"You do that again, and I'll snatch you bald-headed!" was a phrase I heard often in jest and sometimes in seriousness.
Sometimes, if I was misbehaving, it was used as a warning to stop.
Other times, if I was winning in a card game and/or pulled a clever move, I'd hear that as a playful comment.
I believe it actually is referring to a knockdown, drag out girl fight where a girls hair was pulled out.
Be very careful when pulling off the road. You never know when someone else may not be paying attention.
Do not cross any fences, the cache is not on private property. Watch out for critters, always look before sticking your hand anywhere or use a stick. Please bring your own pen. Replace log as needed, if container is missing, message or email me. Have fun, and above all, Be Safe! Congratulations to Geocaching Granny 3 on the FTF!
