Varparannan vanha kyläkoulu rakennettiin 1940-luvulla, jossa se toimi kuutisenkymmentä vuotta. Koulu siirtyi vuonna 2004 nykyiselle paikalleen rantaan. Vanhan koulurakennuksen ostanut perhe purki talosta vanhemman osan pois.
Ennen koulun muuttoa uusiin tiloihin, vanhan koulun tavaroita myytiin halukkaille ostajille. Mekin olimme paikalla, vaikka emme olekaan kyseistä koulua käyneet. Herra TeJaSaVe kulki omia teitään sillä aikaa, kun rouva TeJaSaVe jutteli milloin kenenkin kanssa. Rakennuksen vanhan osan yläkerrassa oli pieni asunto, jossa lienee asunut talonmies tai keittäjä. Herra TeJaSaVen kiivettyä ylös hän kohtasi vanhan kahvia juovan naisen. Pahoitellen häiriötä hän poistui takavasemmalle muun kauppoja hierovan kansan pariin. Herra TeJaSaVen ihmetellessä, että asukkaat eivät vielä olleet muuttaneet, väki oli kummissaan. Asunnossa ei ollut asunut enää aikoihin ketään. Eikä mummoakaan enää näkynyt, kun uteliaat häntä katsomaan lähtivät.
The old village school was built in the 1940's. It was active there for about 60 years. A new school was built to its current location near the beach at 2004. The new owners of the old school building took down the oldest part of the building.
There was an auction at the old school before moving into the new building. We were also there even though we have never actually attended that school. Mr. TeJaSaVe walked on his own while Mrs. TeJaSaVe was talking with people. There was an old apartment at the oldest part of the house. Mr. TeJaSaVe climbed the stairs to upstairs and looked for something interesting to buy. He met an old lady drinking coffee. Mr. TeJaSaVe apologized and went back downstairs. There he said to people "How there are still people living here?". Everyone was amazed. There hadn't been anybody living in the building for ages. And the old lady wasn't there anymore, when the curious people went looking for her.
