This small lock and lock container is located atop the Summit of Wolf Creek Hill, a nice easy summit at an elevation of 1,530 meters. Travel to this geocache will require a ford of the Sheep River, and a return hike of 6 kilometers with 200 meters of elevation gain.

Wolf Creek Hill makes for a great half day or lazy day hiking objective. It also offers some nice unobstructed views. The initial access is very similar to that of Mount Dyson , so refer to that cache page for detailed waypoints. Park at the Sandy McNabb parking lot near the Sheep River. Cross over (winter) or ford (not winter) the Sheep River and proceed along the Wolf Creek Trail to an open marsh. Once at the open marsh, the nice easy slopes of Wolf Creek Hill appear to your left. Pick your route and enjoy the hike to the summit!
