Please join us for a Leap Day BBQ dinner and friendly conversation at Bear's Smokehouse Barbeque restaurant, conveniently located at 2152 Poquonock Avenue in Windsor CT. Take Route 91 to the Route 20 Bradley Airport Connector exit. Then exit for Route 75 and turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Bear's will be on your left, next to a bank.
Bear's offers great barbeque food, such as pulled pork, and a great macaroni and cheese. This event will be suitable for cachers of all ages as this is a family restaurant. Bear's also offers ten of our locally produced beers. They have a cafeteria-style set-up, so you go through the line and pick out what foods you want and you pay the cashier. Then come join the event!
This is a great opportunity to meet the local geocachers in our area and to earn a special souvenir on your geocaching page. There are two different Leap Year souvenirs that you can acquire. You get one souvenir for attending an event on February 29, 2016 and the second souvenir for finding any cache on the weekend of February 27, 28 and 29.
The festivities will begin at 6 P.M. and last until 8 P.M., so come enjoy some good food and good company! Hope to see you there!
