And, if you can believe it…

There will be Michio Kaku!!!

Michio Kaku

That’s right. Michio Kaku will be joining us.

Michio Kaku is a Professor of Theoretical Physics at the City College of New York who holds a B.A. from Harvard University and a Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley . He has written several books about physics and related topics, including three New York Times Best Sellers: Physics of the Impossible (2008), Physics of the Future (2011), and The Future of the Mind (2014). Kaku has hosted several TV specials for the BBC, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, and the Science Channel.

What will Michio Kaku speak to us about? Who knows. There are a variety of topics he might cover. No doubt, whatever he decides to cover will be compelling. One of my hopes is that we can get a little into the theory of relativity and how GPS was utilized in the experiment earlier this decade that initially showed neutrinos to move faster than the speed of light. Wouldn't that be fun? Or maybe even more fun might be to ask him about the effects of time on satellites in different orbit distances around the Earth.

Now, one word of caution. There is always the possibility that Michio Kaku will be unable to actually attend this event. We have had other events with guests who have failed to show. Just a few years back many of you will remember the disappointment when William Shatner failed to actually show for Shatnerganza. So, if you come to StealthRT's Big Kakuganza, please come with the expectation that you will get to enjoy the company of other cachers. And, when Michio Kaku shows it will be a huge bonus. And, if for some reason he does not, it will not depress your day. Remember, Leap Day only comes once every four years. You do not want to spend it all depressed and sad. Because whether Kaku shows or fails to show, StealthRT's Big Kakuganza will happen. There will be balloons. There will be fireworks. There will be great joy. And, hopefully, there will be you.

For those who are interested, here are links to two of the cuts discussed at and after the event from Kaleo. The first one has some soul and the second one just cooks. Enjoy.
