Earthcache Event
Embark on a journey to the center of the Earth on the mining site of Wallers Arenberg, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Learn about the mining area through the many Earthcaches and activities created for the occasion.
You will have the opportunity to visit the galleries, the hanging room, mining buildings, the lamp room and the sets of the film Germinal, and to admire the view from the top of the headframe.

Payment is made on site at the tourist office at 7 € fee (€ 4 for 12-18 years)
Mystery Academy
Such as Sherlock Holmes, solve puzzles designed for you at the Mystery Academy which will be held in the room Claude Berri of the mining site of Wallers Arenberg.
About different themes, we have developed 25 puzzles to solve alone or in groups, each one of them leading you to a cache.
We speak several languages (French, English, German, Dutch and Spanish) and we can help you if needed.
Also, no need to speak French: the puzzles are created so all nationalities could solve them (colour coding, numbers, encryption...)

Kayak Event
Take part in an expedition like Jacques Cousteau’s at the river port of Saint Amand Les Eaux.
In a kayak, feel the adrenaline while searching for T5 and other aquatic monsters.
Whether you are young or a grown up, this adventure is for you.
Kayaks are available for free all day. A little queue will be logically expected, thank you for your patience.
