Passing by (and maybe stopping) here early morning or after dusk will sure to put you in the company of Vultures (BTW- there are no 'buzzards' in Texas). 100's of earth's garbage men roost on and around the tower. Look on the ground for evidence in the way of feathers and 'other' stuff. Your nose may also give you a hint. The 2 species of vultures (derived from a latin word meaning "tearer") you will see are the Black Vulture and the Turkey Vulture. One way to tell the difference is by the color of their head. Black Vultures have, well, black featherless heads and Turkey Vultures have the red turkey-looking heads. While here, see if you can spot both species!
