Little Angels -  Cindy’s Angels

This is part of a series of geocaches that have been placed to remember the young lives that were lost due to tragic circumstances.  Keeping their memories alive.

Three innocent brothers that were taken away from their mother in the most horrendous way possible.  Jai aged 10, Tyler aged 7, and Bailey aged 2 were brothers that were happy, cheeky and full of life, love and affection. 

It was Fathers Day 2005, the boys parents had been separated for almost 12 months.  And even though it wasn't the weekend for the boys to see their dad, Cindy thought because it was Father’s Day, that Robert deserved to spend some time with his children.  That morning Robert worked his shift at work, and was home by mid afternoon.  The boys seemed excited to see their dad, showering him with gifts when they arrived at his home.  Jai said that they wanted to stay with him and have tea together.  Cindy agreed, hugging them all, and saying goodbye with an “I love you”. 

Robert and the boys then headed to Geelong for KFC for tea - its what the boys wanted to do.  But then...circumstances that no one will ever understand on what happened on that drive home from Geelong.  Roberts car veered off the highway, crashed through a fence and came to rest in a dam.   

Robert Farquharson was sentenced to life imprisonment with a 33 year minimum for taking the lives of his children....

Edit  Sadly Cindy passed away on Mothers Day 2022, reunited back into the arms of her beautiful boys.
