The Caching in my Neighbourhood Series continues..... It was a pleasant winter afternoon to begin and then the snow started. All caches in this series are winter friendly and should be fairly easy finds. Most are fairly close to the so-called Mainland North Linear Parkway which we call the Linear Trail. For this one, best place to park would be the parking lot at the top of Westridge Dr next to the baseball field and close to the off-leash dog park.
Follow the Mainland Common Loop Trail past the bog lookoff. The trail will turn left into the woods and past my old cache just off the trail. Stay on the main trail until you encounter a small water crossing. There is a rough, rocky trail on your right - proceed up the hill here. Continue until you reach an informal natural trail and follow that until the cache is close by. The cache is WF and may be hard to find - it is tiny.
