INTRO(s): http://bit.ly/1Reaatk

Act One: THE ENCRYPTION METHOD

Frasier: Have you seen anything exciting to bid on?

Niles: Well, no.  It's mostly the same items as last year. [reads one] A day of beauty with internationally-known stylist Raphael.

Frasier: Yes, I see Missy Cromwell put down for that.

Niles: Well, can you blame her? Her last day of beauty was during the Johnson administration. [they laugh]

Frasier: [looks] You know, this is rather interesting. The Laureate Luncheon; break bread with two reputed cryptographers:  Blaise de Vigenère and Giovan Battista Bellaso.

Niles: Oh my, it's an opportunity to meet with two of the greatest thinkers of our time.  I'm amazed they even got both in the same room together.

Act Two: KEY CHAPTERS

Frasier: Niles, I have to be honest. I'm a little disappointed in you. Were you actually going to stick another human being's head into a toilet?

Niles: [exasperated] I'm always the girl!  In every prep school play I was the girl!  Guinevere, Marian the Librarian, Ado Annie.  Well, no more, I'm through with it!  When do I get to be Shoeless Joe from Hannibal, Mo'?!

Martin: Well, if you ask me, you should keep your bazoo shut! You're always getting into trouble opening that big bazoo of yours!

Daphne: [rising] Why are you yelling?

Daphne:  Tell you what, I'll take you all out for a nice dinner, my treat.  I'll just go and put on my new dress and we'll be off.  I want you to put on your new shirt with your brown courdroy slacks.  [She heads to her room.]

Roz: [to Frasier] We're gonna get sued this time, for sure

Eddie starts pawing at the front door.

Act Three: THE CIPHERED WORD

The Frasier show is a sitcom that was broadcasted for eleven seasons, premiering on September 1993, and concluding on May 2004. It is considered one of the most successful spin-off series in television history and one of the most critically acclaimed comedy series of all time. The series has won a total of 37 Primetime Emmy Awards during its 11-year run.

Q: How many intros are there in the Frasier show?

Martin "Marty" Crane is an army veteran, former police officer and father of Frasier and Niles Crane. Martin was shot after interrupting a robbery attempt in a convenience store. The injury left a bullet in his left hip, forcing him to walk with a cane for the rest of his life and forcing him to accept Frasier's invitation to live with him. Most of the comedy and drama of the series stems from the culture clashes between the refined sons and the blue-collar father and the struggles between Frasier and Martin in sharing an apartment. One of the disputes between Frasier and Martin is a decades-old, well-worn recliner that Martin owns. Frasier is appalled by its appearance in his living room.

Q: How many years have Frasier and Martin lived together in Frasier’s apartment when Martin's armchair is thrown away through the balcony?

Daphne Moon is an immigrant from Manchester who is employed by Frasier Crane as a live-in housekeeper and physical therapist for his father, Martin. Daphne is mostly portrayed as kind and down-to-earth, often perplexed and exasperated by Frasier's snobbery and pretension. Daphne's most significant developing relationship over the course of the series is with Frasier Crane's younger brother, Niles. Unbeknownst to Daphne, Niles falls in love with her in the third episode, when they first meet; despite the increasing obviousness of Niles' infatuation, Daphne remains utterly oblivious to Niles' feelings towards her. http://bit.ly/1RyTfRG

Q: How many years did Niles pine for Daphne? Multiply it by two

Frasier's apartment was designed to be ultra-modern in an eclectic style. It included elements such as a slightly split-level design, doors with triangular wooden inlay features, numerous pieces of well-known high-end furniture pieces and a notable view from the terrace which was frequently complimented by visitors. The show’s set designers spent almost half a million dollars to give Frasier’s apartment its “eclectic” look.

Q: What floor does Frasier live in?

Frasier Crane is a licensed psychiatrist who is flawed, silly, pompous, and full of himself, yet kind and vulnerable. He is a child prodigy, theatre enthusiast and frequent target for bullies; very complicated, very intelligent, but also very insecure. He may have all solutions to problems as psychiatrist but is clueless about himself. http://bit.ly/1O9NB1I

Q: Count the number of series where the fictional character Frasier Crane was Emmy Award-nominated. Then add one

Niles Crane, M.D., Ph.D. is the younger brother of Dr. Frasier Crane, the son of Det. Martin Crane. Like Frasier, Niles was an unusually sensitive child, a frequent target for bullies and very intelligent (his IQ is 156). As a result, he was quite close to his older brother and at the same time fiercely competitive with him. Niles, like Frasier, is fastidious, snobby and fussy, has gourmet tastes, and was described by a professional interviewer by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer as obsessive-compulsive. He frequently wears double breasted suits and Trafalgar limited-edition suspenders. He is an admirer of the fine arts including opera, theatre, and classical music, drinks fine wine and enjoys French food which he himself cooks, and frequently obsesses about knowing the right people and climbing the social ladder. http://bit.ly/1cJPOXB

Q:

Niles: So I said to the gardener, "Yoshi, I do not want a Zen garden in my backyard.  If I want to rake gravel every ten minutes to maintain my inner harmony, I'll move to Yokohama."  Well, this offends him, so he starts pulling up Maris's prized Camellias. Well, I couldn't stand for that, so I marched right into the morning room and locked the door until he cooled down.

Frasier has been nodding his head, but he has obviously not been listening.

Niles: Tell me you would have handled it differently, Frasier.

Frasier: [looks up] Oh, I'm sorry, Niles, I didn't realise you'd stopped talking.

Niles: You haven't heard a word I said.

Frasier: Oh Niles, you're a psychiatrist - you know what it's like to listen to people prattling on endlessly about their mundane lives.

Niles: Touché. And on that subject, I heard your show today.

Frasier: And?

Niles: You know what I think about pop psychiatry.

Frasier: Yes, I know what you think about everything. When was the last time you had an unexpressed thought?

Niles: I'm having one now.

Eddie is Martin's Jack Russell Terrier. Eddie was originally played by Moose, and later by Moose's son Enzo. Eddie is known for responding to Martin and Daphne with human-like understanding, but often seems to taunt Frasier. Eddie was the cast member who received the most fan mail. http://bit.ly/1QAWUcN

Q: How old was Moose (Eddie in Frasier show) when he retired?

Final Act:  THE LAST ENCRYPTION

Roz: We have Averia on line one. She's having trouble with a mistery geocache

Frasier: [presses a button] Hello, Averia. This is Dr Frasier Crane; I'm listening.

Averia: [v.o.] Hi. It's just that, well… It’s my boyfriend… He is trying to solve a [short pause and a sigh] geocache and… well, he cannot solve it. And he tries it so hard, but he doesn’t make it and…

Frasier: Oh, I see. You are worried about him. Frustration, that emotional response to a perceived defeat of our sometimes underestimated individual will. The closer we are, the harder it gets. Without our willingness we are nothing, it is the key that will unlock the door to a successful life. Those that are firm in their will mold the world to themselves! [laughs] Averia, I encourage you to support your boyfriend; help him in his mission. A word of encouragement during a failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success!

Averia: [v.o.] Encouragement!! Are you nuts!! He stopped sleeping three days ago!!!

Frasier: [Annoyed] All right! Please, take note: Yikosj a vw kcfwermxchgnr eey zwtgii w wk zrvfawnemiij.

CREDITS (http://bit.ly/1mLDTge):

Some important street in Madrid, at the coordinates N40 25.A, W3 41.B - Frasier is touching in an agitated manner the corner of a fence. When it looks like he’s found something, Eddie appears, climbs up and starts smelling his hand. Frasier moves it away and acts as if he does not understand what is happening, while greeting Martin. When Eddie leaves, Frasier takes the geocache with a face of immense satisfaction. Then he searches in his pockets and realizes he’s forgotten the pen and lands a cry of despair.
