Paid for with section 106 funding from the recent hotel development on the sea front, the artworks have been designed and produced by local artists and companies. The waymarkers are constructed from marine-grade stainless steel, with the upstand reflecting the shape of a ship’s funnel and the porthole illustrations on each one depicting what you will see next on the trail.
This multi-cache follows part of the trail towards the beach and will show you 7 of the markers. 2 more are located in the public gardens, very close to the 7th waypoint. As the gardens are locked at certain times we have not used them for the cache. The remaining waymarker can be found at the marina.
The posted coordinates take you to the start-point of the trail. There are 2 public car-parks (paying) close by.
