Leap Day Flash Mob Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Chattahoochee Valley Cachers: This flash mob went very well. We had older CVC members, newbies, and muggles. We had out of town visitors, cachers returning that have been out of touch for a long time and a newborn cacher. We said goodby to TheArmyOf Twitch. He is being deployed to Korea. After the flash mob most members hung around to eat together and become a strong group. Thanks to all and CACHE ON.

Geocache Description:

Hello cachers. The CVC will be hosting this "Flash Mob". A Virtual Souvenir  will be awarded to your Geocaching.com account when you attend the event. The event will last 30 min. to celebrate an extra day of caching this year.

We will meet on the Frank Martin Walking Bridge between Columbus and Phenix City. (The old 14th Street bridge). We will be over the Chattahoochee River whitewater but PLEASE DON'T LEAP. We will start promptly at 6:00 PM and sign the log. Any announcements, suggestions or requests are encouraged from the group. Every one exchange greetings and lets make any new cachers feel welcome. The group photo will be made at 6:15 PM. After the picture we will have a drawing for a few door prizes. AFTER the official meeting ends at 6:30 p.m. several of us will be headed to the restaurant on the Columbus end of the bridge for refreshments and food. This is not a requirement for the Flash Mob, but all are welcome to join us and continue our Geo Chat.
