This is the site of the old Ridglea bowling alley, which was later converted into an Ice skating rink that only lasted a few years. It has since been incarnated into several different businesses. The most notorious part of the bowling alley's past is that it was the venue of the nationally publicized kidnapping and subsequent murder of Carla Walker in 1974. The back doors that are visible from this cache were the last place Carla was seen alive. Her murder is still unsolved, and the last officer that was still working on the cold case, John F. Terrell, died in 2010.
