If history could talk! Sad not to have the railroad "running". This is the section that you see right near this cache location. It turns into a working railroad further down South. It is operated by the Pioneer Valley Railroad. Further North, it turns into a bike trail.
The best part is as you drive down this road, you can still see a lot of the old railroad. One section goes right through the front yard of someones house. Even the railroad crossing that is right there, still has the signs there, at the time of this writting.Bring your own pen.
