This War Memorial stands in a prominent position in the grounds of Aberfoyle Parish Church in Lochard Road. Often the names of service personnel who died during WW2 were added to WW1 memorials but in Aberfoyle`s case a Memorial Hall was erected to honour Second World War casualties. It stands on the left hand side as you leave the village on the Duke`s Pass road. A commemorative plaque listing those who fell can be found on the outside wall. There are WWII names on the "middle step".
There is a wee car park at the church, please be respectful of any church goers using the car park.You will need to find some information from the war memorial and do some calculations to find where the cache is hidden at
