Bahia Rica Powertrail #07 Traditional Cache

This is a powertrail that goes on a gravel road from the Paquera ferry terminal to our lodge Bahia Rica.

The road is not private, so everyone can drive here. It can be a bit rough at the end down the steep section after heavy rain, so if you don't have a 4x4 it is recommended that you park near cache #5 and walk the last section. You can also park at the ferry terminal and do this as a hike. On the way you can see lots of animals, like the howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, armadillos, iguanas and birds. There is hardly any traffic on this road, so it will be a peaceful walk.
 

Make sure to bring water, and put on mosquito repellent.

There is also a very good local fish-restaurant at the beginning of the trail near cache #1, it is open from 8am to 4pm.

All the caches on the powertrail are easy park and grab. Enjoy!
