Please join us at the Tower Road Library from 10:00 am to 11:00 am for a Geocaching 101 Class and an impromptu Meet and Greet.
When I first started caching, I was by the lingo. FTF? TFTC? TNLNSL? Muggle? LNL? Florida Style? Georgia Style?
This was learning a whole new language. Whether you've been there or are there, this is an Event for you. We will be covering three geocaching basics. Premium Memberships, trackables, and of course, finding a geocache.
What is a geocache anyway?
There will be examples of different types of things you may find while out geocaching. We'll have nanos, micros, smalls, regulars and maybe a large cache.
Premium Memberships, Who Needs It?

We'll talk about geocoins and travel bugs and how to log them when you find them and what to do with them after you find them.
If you are new to the area and just want to meet some of your local geocachers, please come out to this event. There will be seasoned cachers to answer your questions. Not only will you get to meet some of the people who put caches in this area but you might also learn some trade secrets.
