Geocache Description:

Have you seen that big white golf ball on the mountain east of Cedar City? You know the one, you can see it from all over Southern Utah. Ever wonder what it was. Well let’s go find out.

To get to Cedar Breaks Golf Balls cache you can take any number of trails and roads that branch off of highway 148 between highways 143 and 14 about 22 miles east of Cedar City, Utah.

The difficulty would depend upon which route you choose. If you are not in a 4X4 you might want to try Forest Road (FR) 277. If you want to try a cool jeep or bike trail give FR 2105 a shot. There are some very nice hiking trails just off the FR 277-Highway 148 intersection that will get you close. The cache is at an altitude of about 10564’.

The cache is a large black ammo can.
