Geocache Description:

This is a traditional geocaching experience but on a fairly steep slope between two roads. Should be fun for children between ages of 7-14 and of corse for grownups also.

Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called "geocaches" or "caches", anywhere in the world. A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook (with a pen or pencil). The geocacher enters the date they found it and signs it with their established code name. After signing the log, the cache must be placed back exactly where the person found it. Larger containers such as plastic storage containers (Tupperware or similar) or ammunition boxes can also contain items for trading, such as toys or trinkets, usually of more sentimental worth than financial. Geocaching shares many aspects with benchmarking, trigpointing, orienteering, treasure-hunting, letterboxing, and way marking. This used to be my friend's hideout. It is on pretty steep slope along the Mayfield upper part and lower part. Available from both the upper and lower parts, if you want to take your chances to get poked by one of the bushes and only have to go off the path 10-20ft you should go from the lower part, if you want to go down a steep slope you might want to go from the top. It is in the middle in the bushes please make sure that you put it back exactly back the way you found it and don't push it back in too much. We made some steps in the dirt which should help you get down and up again. Be careful of any water pipes, and of course traffic on the street. This is a red lidded container about as big as a harry potter book. Welcome TRAVEL BUGS. This cache is also in a rain coat, please write some short comments in the mini book that will be included at 4-27-2016. You may find some cache containers that say nope which means you should keep searching for the one that is the actual cache.
