The cache is situated at a place that definitely has the best view over Kirkwood. You will overlook the citrus orchards that this region is so well known for and you can see the town of Kirkwood in the distance at the foot of the mountain. A clear view of the old railway bridge and the once active railway line can be appreciated from the top.
Have something to drink while taking the opportunity to capture the beautiful setting.

The theme of this cache is reading. Please try to trade items that is associated with reading. The cache is currently stocked with a couple of books. This is the perfect place for a cache like this as it is often a stay over for tourist.
The manager of the lodge, Martin van Deventer, knows about the cache as well as his staff.
The cache contains a pen and logbook.
The container is a bucket, so please note that an A4 size book will not work.
