Over the brook and not so far away Traditional Cache

The Cache is on the public footpath from Astley Church to Glasshampton monastery in the beautiful village of Astley.  The path starts by the church, down to a stone bridge which crosses Dick Brook, then continutes through grassy meadows, near the monastery.  

You can park at Astley Church but please avoid times when the church is in use.  Walk down the path past the grave yard on the right, over the stile, and there is the public foot path to your right, which will lead down to the brook.    The walk down to the cache can be very muddy during wet weather and have lots of stingers growing in the warmer weather.  Over the brook and as if you are walking straight up the hill, there are some trees to your left where our cache is hidden, a green painted plastic tub.
