This is on a circular walk from the main A4074 at Chazey Heath,{parking close by}near to Jacksons lane, go down Jacksons Lane through the golf course and onwards towards Mapledurham village,once in the village and visiting the church, water mill, and house if you fancy, back to the little footpath that leads to the Statue in the woods, continue up the hill through the woods accross to Rose farm , from here back towards the golf course crossing back again to meet Jacksons lane turning left to complete the circle . approx. distance 10.1 km 6.2 miles
