Sol de lune: Time for this series to go. With the advent of the ‘power trail’, the goal of finding 1000 caches can now be achieved over a good weekend. With that in mind, coupled with the fact that not all cachers stats are available to be found, the relevance of the series is diminished.

Thanks to all found who the cache, which has now been collected and removed…

It’s been a while since the last ACT 1000 Club caches was published (apologies for the delay), and with so many cachers hitting the 1000 mark since then, I now have another couple of caches for the series. In this cache, the newest members of the ACT 1000 Club, in no particular, are:

2 Leg Drive
Darzee Di
MrDamage
Tig-grrr
ZQX, and
GrimRaider.

To find this cache, which is located at South 35 21.ABC East 149 08.DEF, all you need do is answer a question about the new club member’s 1000th cache find. There are a couple of ways to find which cache was the 1000th find….the information given below may assist.

2 Leg Drive found his first cache on 21 Aug 2001….and his 1000th was just over 13 years later. Still, good to see one of the ACT original cachers finally made it to the milestone.

C = The day the 1000th cache was placed.

Made her first find on 24 Nov 2012…while number 1000 was 25 months later…..

F = The second digit in the day the 1000th find was made

Number 1000 was found during Dec 2014.

A = Day the 1000th cache was found.

Another Dec 2014 1000th find, and this cache is sort of endangered.

E = A number from the east co-ords of the 1000th find: 14E 37.596
