Hong Kong Scouts has been divided into 5 Regions and 44 Districts.
Each Region manage several districts and the District Council manage the Scout Groups within that district.
This cache is located at the District Scout Headquarters of the Kowloon Tong District, which is under the Kolwoon Region of the Scout Association of Hong Kong.
The Kowloon Tong District established in 1961 with 5 Scout groups and less than 250 members. Nowadays, the district has 22 Scout Groups with over 1000 members. (some of them are geocachers!)
The Kowloon Tong District Scout Headquarters was built in 1970 and became activity venue for Scout groups and members since then. This District Scout HQ is one of the biggest District Scout HQ in Hong Kong, and is the biggest one within the Kowloon Region.
This district badge of the Kowloon Tong District is a rectangular badge with a Dragon and Scout sign on it. This is the third generation of the district badge and has been used since the early 1990s.
