Another cache in the area to add to the enjoyment of a geocacher's visit to this under-utilised area of the Hwange National Park.
This is one of the few places in Hwange National Park where you are allowed out of your vehicle - i.e. you may leave your car but stay within the demarcated area. As such the cache location is fairly obvious, please ensure to hide the cache well again before leaving. The terrain at GZ is easy, but we have allocated a Terrain level of 2.5 because you have to get there, and in the rainy season in particular this can be challenging! We have seen some good birdlife and wildlife in this area including lion and leopard, and the Dam itself has a couple of resident hippos. Enjoy!
