This cache is located at another of the small hides dotted around the Hwange National Park - this one being high on the bank overlooking a beautiful section of the river, and a great place for your picnic lunch!
This cache is placed in one of the few areas in this under-utilised area of the Hwange National Park where you are allowed to leave your vehicle. This is always a lot of good birding to be seen from the thatched hide, and there is often a pod of hippos to be seen lounging around in the river below the hide. Access to the hide is pretty much all year round, even in the wet season, and should be accessible most of the year in a high clearance 2WD vehicle. Please remove the cache with great care so as to be able to hide it well again after you have signed the log book - the cache has room for trackables. Enjoy!
