The cache itself should be easy to find most of the time, though at other times it will be muggle central. Please place the container back in the same orientation that you find it to keep it hidden instead of making it scream, "Look at me, I don't belong, come muggle me!!"
Starting swag includes tons of toys and several American flags (if you have found one of Tommy's caches, you know why). If there is a flag in the cache, feel free to take one without trading for it.
Yesterday, Tommy mentioned that he is at 199 finds and asked if I knew of any caches that would be good for a 200th find. I gave him several suggestions, but then asked him about holding off for something specific, and here it is!
I have enjoyed geocaching immensely over the past several years. It started off casually, as something that I would do with my famil here and there. It has grown into a passion, and had come to the point where my family doesn't want to go quite as often. I was looking for friends who were geocachers, when Tommy started geocaching. It has been so much more fun since he joined in!
I now have a friend who is equally passionate about geocaching! Neither of us has nearly enough time to geocache as much as we would like, but when we are able to go on a Georun together, we have a blast! In a short time, we have had many laughs, many finds, looked exceedingly suspicious, and have even been followed around by police after leaving a cache. Apparently sneaking down a dim alley in a small town at midnight is suspicious behavior...who knew?!
Tommy has placed several great hides already, and has one in the works that is likely to rake in the Favorite Points...I am a little bit jealous of his master craftmanship. Enjoy the cache, and if you see Tommy around, welcome him to the game!
Anyway, the cache is a Tribute and I figured how better to honor Tommy than to cover the cache in American Flags and place it near one of his favorite places?!
If the cache is in need of maintenance, please feel free to mention it in your log or mark it "Needs Maintenance." I won't be offended and would appreciate the head's up!
Happy caching!
