Geocache Description:

Located in the former disc golf course in Willow River State park. (It was 13 holes - kinda unusual.) The course has been gone for awhile, and now there's a snowshoe/hiking trail up in this area with some cool natural effects put in by park staff. (The platform that looks like an eagle's nest is nearby.)

Good access to this one off the nature trail (posted trailhead coord's below) and just a short walk from there. Small container with room for some tracakbles and trade items. Should be accessible most times of the year. Have fun!

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Aaron L. Mason, Assistant Park Superintendent at Willow River State Park. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at the Wisconsin DNR website.
