Part of a series along the VCT trail honoring and thanking active cachers in Tidewater Virginia who have placed the most geocaches or hosted events for the enjoyment of all.
This cache is placed to honor and thank GrandpaGene for the 89 caches he has placed and 13 events hosted since he began caching in 2010. Based in Hampton, he has placed numerous caches in Hampton and Newport News, been a regular attender at Meet & Greets on both sides of the water, and has been the moving force behind placement of geocaches along the VCT between Jamestown and Charles City.
This is part of a multi-cacher effort to provide caches along the entire length of the Virginia Capital Trail stretching from Jamestown to Richmond. The top 25 active cachers in Tidewater Virginia (below) who have placed the most geocaches or hosted events for the enjoyment of all are:
