I could not find much on the supper club that used to occupy this corner. In it's heyday, it was well known, and got a lot of traffic because the current Hwy OO was the old Hwy 41. One episode I had heard about, and it can be found on the internet, was a revenuer agents raid in the late 1920's. The case ended up being dismissed because the two agents involved were serving a sentence in Leavenworth!
