Beit Yehoshua is a moshav adjacent to moshav Kfar Netter. They both belongs to Hof Hasharon regional council. The settlement was established as a kibbutz in1938 by members of Akiva B, from Poland, who immigrated to Israel in the 1930's and trained in Petha-Tikva as part of Wall and Tower. In 1950 it became a moshav.
Today there are 1000 residents, some land owners, some homeowners,and the most in rent. With the development of the railway and the rise in quality of life in the village, many live in rent.
המושב כונה .מושב בתוך תחנת רכבת (הוקמה 1953). הפך מקיבוץ למושב, וכיום לאזור כפרי
שרוב בניו עובדים בחוץ. המושב קרוי על-שם יהושע טהון, פעיל בהכשרת הישוב
לאחרונה הפסידו המושבים של חוף השרון בתביעה לעירית נתניה על שטח, שהפך מחקלאות לתעשיה
במערב כפר-נטר ובית-יהושע. יש החלטה ממשלתית שתוך 20 שנה יאוחדו מושבים קטנים לערים גדולות כפרברים ולא כמושבים
