Welcome to the Highlands East Howler GeoArt Series!
The cache is not at the posted coordinates.
You will have to solve the puzzle to determine the correct coordinates.

The Highlands East Howler is a collection of 99 puzzle caches nestled in the
Geocaching Capital of Canada creating our howling wolf.
In order to solve the puzzles in this series it will be necessary to go on six fact finding missions.

Home to one of only a handful of mines in Canada to have been worked commercially for gemstones, Highlands East has long drawn travelling rockhounds in search of a bit of bling, but it also happens to host one of the highest concentrations of rare mineral species in all of Ontario’s Highlands.
Claiming the mineral rights at several locations, the Municipality of Highlands East took the unprecedented step of becoming Ontario’s first municipality ever to hold mineral claims, ensuring lasting public access to more great mineral collecting opportunities.
Only a few minutes drive of each other, the Desmont Mine, Schickler Flourite occurrence, Essonville Roadcut and Titanite Hill are just a few of the rewarding public destinations you can visit. Stop by the information centre in Wilberforce to get your rock hunting adventure started.
