Geocache Description:

This cache was placed in memory of Harold Bowser who went to Heaven in search of the ultimate cache on January 15, 2016. Harold was an avid and local pioneer of geocaching. He was the one that got me and many others involved in geocaching. You would see Harold with his relatives, friends, and a lot of times with his great grandchildren caching. He started geocaching and teaching his great grandson Jake (at age 3) how to use the GPS (Picture attached). He was very instrumental with organizing the local Armstrong County Geoevent. He completed his geocaching here on earth with 1,536 finds.

Along with his love for geocaching he served his community as a lifetime member of the East Franklin Volunteer Fire Department and also served as a forest fire warden since 1974.

All who knew Harold will miss seeing him out and about in search of another cache.

Harold liked cache containers for the kids so this small size lock n lock container has a FTF prize and swag for kids and adults.
