Geocache Description:

An easy park and grab cache.

The fifth wonder of the world is a mausoleum built for King Mausolus who ruled part of Asia Minor and died in 353 B.C. The word mausoleum stems from his name. Built 1918, the Macon Public Mausoleum crowns a hill in the heart of the cemetery, providing a final resting place for some of Macon, GA's most notable past citizens. This geocache was placed with permission from the Historic Riverside Cemetery Conservancy, the Executive Director, the care taker and staff knows of the location for the geocache.
