Noorong is a location in a rice growing area between Swan Hill and Wakool.
The cache site is near the Noorong Community Centre.
This building is on the site of the 3rd Noorong School which opened in 1948 and closed in 1984.
You are looking for a 500ml clip lock container which has a logbook, pen and a few swaps
As always be wary of snakes and other nasties whilst in these areas
As a guide to new geocachers, we would like to share with you just a few of the things that we carry in our box of tricks
1. Most importantly, a first aid kit and a snakebite kit. We never go camping or caching without these.
2. A pair of tweezers for those pesky nano logs
3. A length of stiff wire with a hook fashioned at one end and a handle on the other.
4. We still do carry an old fashion compass.
5. A small torch
6. Spare batteries, pens
