My Children visit here most weekends as their grandparents live jusy around the corner. The area is fairly spars in terms of caches and they decided to try and do something about it.
This little park, which now shows up on the map as Crofton park, has always been known to us as Coppers Lake although this technically just refers to the small lake in the park. You may notice that, while there is a stream flowing into the lake there is not one flowwing back out. This is because te overflow goes underground through a culvert which reappears a few hundred yards away, the other side of the housing estate. A few years ago, after heavy rain, the culvert backed up so badly that water errupted from the middle of the field and flodded dozens of houses as it took it's natural course. The park is heavily used by dog walkers to please be on the lookout for muggles as you make your way around.
GPS has been averaged as best as possible but was jumping around a bit due to being under the trees. Please be patient if co-ordinates are a little bit off. Cache in a small cliplock box with a few swaps and space for travel bugs.
