16th April 2016 - 10.00am -until- Noon

The entire week of April 16th-24th is 2016's first CITO week! So we are starting off the week with two in County Durham. The other event is Sunday at Broom Park, Durham. Click here to go to that event cache.

Anyone attending and logging a CITO event during this weekend will receive a nice shiny electronic souvenir to display on their profile.. CITOis short for Cache in Trash Out for those that don't know.

We will be kicking off at 10am and by noon will have hopefully collected lots of rubbish. Everyone is welcome to join in, including small cachers and geo-hounds. You are not obliged to stay for the full time, just stay as long as you can spare to tidy up the countryside, our playground, a little.

Litter picks/gloves/black sacks will all be provided courtesy of Durham County Council Rangers. There is suitable parking at the posted coordinates. The Rangers will be opening the boomgate to allow us to park in the picnic area. If you choose to park elsewhere, please don't block anyone's drive, park sensibly and watch out for young cachers and geohounds near the road. Hope to see you there.
