Torrey's, Gray's, and Bierstadt are black diamond steep glades on the far East of Montezuma Bowl. You have to ski one of these to get to the cache, and the path out is very steep tree skiing.
This is an area of steep tree skiing. The snow can vary from deep powder, wind blown, moguls, or hardpack, depending on the recent weather and skier traffic. The cache is a bright red micro, easily visible on a vertical bare (almost) dead pine snag.
This run is rated black diamond by Arapahoe Basin, but could easily be double diamond. There is no easy way in, and there is no easy way out. Hiking in the summer may be extremely difficult as well.
